Children’s Discovery Museum

Last Wednesday Tira, G-ma, Papa, Mommy (and P2) all piled into the car and took a trip out to the Children’s Discovery Museum by Chatuchuck Market.

We had the whole place practically to ourselves. There was one group of school kids but we tried to stay on a different floor then them (after they nearly stampeded Tira :-O). Tira was a little shy at first and didn’t want to let go of Papa, but after a couple of minutes got more comfortable and soon we were chasing her all over the place! Here are some pictures of Tira checking out the displays on other cultures:

Tira loves to “talk” on mommy’s cell phone she even loves the cordless house phone. However she didn’t seem to make the connection that real phones look different and kept pushing away the rotary dial phone. LOL:
Mommy that’s not a phone!

Of course being her daddy’s daughter Tira LOVED the car simulators and had tons of fun driving!

We then went over to the other building and checked out their miniutre grocery store and play house. Tira had fun “shopping”! She picked out different fruits and veggies and put them in her shopping basket. Then we took them over to the house and she washed the veggies and chopped them up getting ready to cook. Just like she sees mommy and G-ma do!

Papa also had a lot of fun in the play house:

After that Tira and G-ma had fun playing on with blocks and going on the slide. It was Tira’s first time playing with lego type blocks and of course the genius baby figured it out right away.
